Syndiant displays selected by Vuzix to develop Augmented Reality Eyewear with SYL2271 HD panel

Syndiant displays allow Vuzix to introduce the world’s first waveguide based high definition see-through wearable display system designed to provide augmented reality and hands-free access to information.

SYL2271Syndiant, a leader in high resolution microdisplays, has teamed with Vuzix to provide the HD 720p panel to enable its first HD see-through wearable display, M2000AR.

“We have selected the Syndiant SYL2271 HD panel as it provides all the best features for our see-through optical waveguide systems, including HD resolution, small form factor and high brightness”, said Paul Travers, CEO of Vuzix.
