Austrian mountains set to embrace the hottest live acts and DJs on earth!
The World’s premier alpine music festival, SNOWBOMBING, are unleashing an avalanche of awesome live acts for their 2013 event, which takes place from 01-06 April in Mayrhofen, Austria.
Notorious rock and roll firebrands KASABIAN are ready to dust off their salopettes and mittens and set fire to the après-ski celebrations as they prepare to headline the exceptional SNOWBOMBING festival in 2013! Acclaimed as one of the hottest and most exhilarating live acts on earth, KASABIAN will be leaving behind the stadiums and arenas they’re accustomed to in favour of a truly unique gig encircled by crisp winter air and snow-capped mountain peaks. Their eagerly anticipated appearance will provide a suitably out-of-this-world climax to an event without rival – “the greatest show on snow”! The Leicestershire lads will not only be appearing at the apex of the festival’s line up, but will also be scaling the hillsides to another summit as they perform a second and completely exclusive and intimate show 6000 feet up on the powder-topped crest of a mountain.

‘Dysfunctional electro-pop’ star EXAMPLE will also make his first open air alpine appearance on the magical forest stage. And with a voice as pure and crystal clear as an alpine spring morning, KATY B takes her sweet vocalised dubstep, R&B and UK garage sensibilities snowbound.
Snowbombing is a festival which showcases the spectrum of dance artists – from international legends to the most exciting emerging young talent. Teenage brothers in rhythm, DISCLOSURE fit the bill perfectly, effortlessly combining the 2-step garage rhythms and dubstep basslines of the underground scene with their own rich musical heritage of soul and garage music. East London quartet RUDIMENTAL and international dance/rap phenomena, FOREIGN BEGGARS also star.
Double BRIT Award and three time MOBO Award winning UK garage, R&B and rap sensation MS. DYNAMITE makes a welcome return to Snowbombing after her explosive debut at this year’s event with her intoxicating mix of innovative and incendiary styles.
South London grime MC P MONEY is one of dubstep’s brightest wordsmiths, firing staggering staccato bursts as rapid as anyone out there. The slopes won’t know what him them.
These newly announced live acts will join Snowbombing’s already sizzling line up for next April’s event – with the clear intention of putting together its biggest ever show on snow!
Original, groundbreaking legends of the electronic scene will mix the most current, crafty and energetic stars in the business. DJ, producer and iconic hero of dance culture, Carl Cox will make his downhill debut, bringing his infectious party vibe to the powder-crisp peaks of Austria. Occasional cosmic wanderer Seth Troxler will ride the cable car of quality House to delight the willing crowds and Maceo Plex will inject feeling, heat and achingly blissful funk into the adjacent glaciers.
Dubstep, Drum & Bass, Techno, House and Disco are all represented with appearances from Skream, Andy C, Netsky, Henrik Schwarz, Justin Martin, James Zabiela, Kerri Chandler, Norman Jay, Crazy P, David Rodigan, Deetron, George Fitzgerald and much, more more.
The picturesque and normally sedate village of Mayrhofen, Austria, will open its collective arms to a Snowbombing roster which is set to eclipse all previous years.
